Poverty Proofing our School

We care about our pupils and are committed to reducing the cost of the school day and poverty-proofing our school environment. Through a range of targeted initiatives, we aim to support ensure all pupils have access to essential resources that help them thrive.

We use the products we purchase to support pupil wellbeing in a variety of ways, including:

• Breakfast and lunch Clubs – providing pupils with a positive start to the day. - Kelloggs Magic Breakfast 
• Goody Bags and Hampers – distributed to pupils and families during key times of the year.
• Christmas Present Support – ensuring pupils and families receive gifts during the festive season.
• Targeted Support for Vulnerable Pupils – including Young Carers and Care Experienced pupils.
• Holiday Support Packs – ensuring pupils have access to essentials during school breaks.
• In-School Wellbeing Spaces – stocking areas like nurture rooms or pods with helpful items.
